These spats were designed by a foundry team member who didn’t want to have to line up the FR hook and loop on the back of the spat.  He drew us a picture and voilá, we made what he wanted!  There’s no need to spend time lining up the two sides, as the scalloped back makes it easy to fold one side over the other. 

It’s now our most requested spat.
